Community Update #1
Hey everyone! Shiba Fantom has had it’s first full week since launch and what a week it was!
Here’s the current breakdown:
The passion and growth of the community continues to impress all of us! You guys are truly something amazing. We want to personally thank all of you for being a part of the journey, and we’re only getting started.
Our Vision: Shiba Fantom’s concept draws inspiration from prior canine ‘meme’ tokens in the space, but our intent is to evolve into something far beyond that. We are dedicated to introducing the world to Fantom’s Opera network through support, guidance, charitable contributions, and co-operation with other teams in the space looking to grow the entire Fantom ecosystem. Our goal is to become a positive community-centric hub where members can collaborate, learn, and help each other learn the ins-and-outs of not just crypto, but of anything. Shiba Fantom welcomes you with open paws to the Opera.

Now to what we’ve been up to, and our Roadmap ahead:
Charitable donations:
A cornerstone of the Shiba Fantom project is giving back to organizations and communities spreading positivity on, and offline. We’re not only looking at developers in the crypto space supporting the growth of Fantom’s ecosystem, but also putting our paws in to help animal shelters that work night and day saving our furry friends across the globe.
Our first donation was $1,100 to Reflect.Finance for the use of their code. This is done explicitly because nearly EVERY meme coin is using their code, yet not a single one has given them the credit they deserve.

Next, Shiba Fantom will be making a charitable donation to Wolf Trap Animal Rescue before the end of the month. We will also be donating to the @FTM_Price_Bot developer as a thank you for their work in growing Fantom’s ecosystem. The transactions will be posted when the donations are made along with an announcement sometime in the next week or two. Stay tuned!
Wallet:
The Dev wallet was split into two portions: One for Dev, Marketing, Team payments, fees, etc. and the other into a dedicated 100% Charity wallet. The Charity wallet has been split again, with 50% locked for 12 weeks. Additional locks are being considered, but as we learn and grow we want to be ready to make strategic decisions and pivot quickly. A dedicated OPTIONAL Community Marketing wallet will be coming soon, this will allow the Community to donate and spend Marketing funds (With Shiba Fantom’s guidance and approval) for marketing THEY choose. We are a community, and it takes a community to grow.
Early Backer NFT’s, Auti Edition:
FINALLY the Early Backer NFT’s (First 100 qualified early backers within the first 48 hours, rules apply) have been completed! We made the decision to print EXTRA NFT’s (120 total) so that everyone who made the cut will be receiving one. Special thank you to Zoo for the incredible NFT marketplace platform.
